<description>Sales rep promises that don&#039;t materialize?

Telcos changing their fine print (which we all agree to in the contract).

How does a contract that in itself proposes to change terms and conditions become a legally binding contract.

I&#039;ve recently had a bad run with Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile.

They decided earlier this year (or so it seems) to expire pre-paid credit. This never happened before.

Calls to their help desk send you to Mumbai, where no answer to the question; &quot; When did this change&quot; is available.
You can&#039;t talk to a representative in Australia unless you are on a non-pre-paid phone contract.

Telstra&#039;s login page refuses to allow me to login, but the help page tells me to use my Mobile number as a username, but the login page itself tells me I can no longer do that.

Service? What &quot;service&quot; ?!?!!?!
